Padilla

​Senator Alex Padilla represents California in the U.S. Senate. Previously California's Secretary of State, Padilla has consistently advocated for climate action. In the California State Senate, he pushed for reduced emissions, renewable energy, and environmental justice. His track record suggests he's a key ally for climate legislation.

Senator Laphonza Butler was recently appointed by Governor Newson in wake of the late Senator Feinstein's passing. She served as president of California SEIU State Council from 2013 to 2018.
